First, WREC is locally and democratically controlled by a member elected Board of Directors who represents the membership as a whole; second you receive reliable electricity at cost based rates, that means the net margin WREC collects in revenue after the cost of providing you with reliable electric service is paid back to our members as Capital Credits; third WREC is heavily involved in the communities in which we live and serve.
