Line Working Foreman

Wells Rural Electric Company has an opening for a Line Working Foreman in Wendover, NV. The successful applicant must have or be able to obtain a Nevada CDL license within 30 days. Must have completed an accredited apprenticeship program and must have a minimum of three years as a journeyman lineman in overhead and underground construction, maintenance and operation according to RUS specifications. The successful applicant will be expected to live within the town of Wendover or under normal circumstances not to exceed a 30 minute response time to the Wendover office. There are three immediate openings for temporary part time positions in Wells, Wendover and Carlin.   All positions open Monday, January 16th 2012 and are potentially renewable 90-day placements.

Job Description:
Provides member-focused approach in assisting the MSR’s with effectively greeting members in the office and by telephone, providing company information to members, receiving and posting member payments, responding to and logging routine radio calls for crews and other duties as required.

Tasks
1. Maintains a safe working environment by adhering to policies, procedures and regulations.

2. Serves members by being the first point of contact.

3.  Receives and post payments to members’ accounts.

4.  Responds to and logs all incoming routine radio calls.

5. Handles customer UPS transactions.

6. Accepts responsibility for work outcomes and results.

7. Delivers exceptional member and customer service.

Work Context
Requires telephone conversations, requires use of electronic mail, requires contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise), requires work with external customers or the public, requires working indoors in environmentally controlled conditions, Job tasks are performed in close physical proximity to other people.

Performs all other work related duties as required
