WREC Board of Directors Approves New Operations Facility

Wells Rural Electric Company’s (WREC’s) Board of Directors announced on Thursday plans to build a new Operations Center adjacent to the main office in Wells.

WREC has provided members with safe, reliable, affordable electricity for nearly 60 years. The decision to build a new facility was made by the Board to ensure that WREC line crews are able to continue offering the kind of reliability and responsiveness our members have enjoyed for decades — with more to come.
