National Co-op Month Celebration

At Wells Rural Electric Company (WREC), we believe being a cooperative is great. That’s why we look forward to National Cooperative Month each October.

In addition to appreciating the cooperative difference and the Seven Cooperative Principles, we also want to celebrate the best part of Wells Rural Electric: our members. WREC was created by and exists to improve the quality of life in the communities we serve. That’s why October isn’t just National Co-op Month for us. It is also Member Appreciation Month.

We love being part of these communities, and we want to show you how much we appreciate you. This year, expect the following:

  • Giveaways in your local office.
  • A $5 bill credit for every residential member who paid their monthly bill on time for the past year.
