By agreeing to have your monthly electricity bill rounded to the nearest dollar, you can join WREC’s Next Dollar Foundation and invest in lasting projects and grant programs that benefit members throughout Wells Rural Electric’s service territory. Each year, the Next Dollar Foundation awards $2,000 grants to help local students pursue their secondary educations.
This year, we are proud to recognize five students for scholastic achievement. WREC wishes them the best of luck as they chase their goals. The recipients of the 2018 Next Dollar Foundation Education Grants are Colton Smith of West Wendover, Benjamin Ballard of Wells, Makai Haub of Carlin, and Ubaldo Carmona and Jason Shepherd of Wendover, Utah.
